Among the religious obligations incumbent upon our Jewish community,

study, worship and acts of loving-kindness are among the highest.

Yet, there is another more important religious imperative: Pikuach Nefesh–the preservation of life.

As  much as we want to join together with the warmth of our community,

there is the issue of safety which must be considered.
